Equipoise achieves no further requirements finding and closure of two former research laboratory and manufacturing facilities located Alhambra, California.

From 1923 to 1977 the site served as an office, engineering, research laboratory and manufacturing facility of large ferrous metal components used  in petroleum refineries and chemical processing plants.  Soil and soil vapor samples revealed the presence of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), namely tetrachloroethylene, or PCE.  In 2002, Equipoise began cleanup activities designing and installing a Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE) treatment system.  In 2017, after conducting various investigations, work plan preparation, field implementation, sampling and monitoring, and risk assessments, the Los Angeles Regional Water Quality Control Board (LARWQCB) granted closure for all soil and soil vapor issues.
